Folk tales through the seasons is a book collection inspired by the New York Times seasonal front pages. Through this book collection the audience can learn about different folk tales from varying countries represented in the front cover of the book. The approach to these covers was to create a fun and attractive collage style composition that gave the viewer information about the stories inside the books before they even picked up the book from the shelf. The illustrations and composition went through several rounds of revisions and color testing before moving forward with the final version to insure all the information about the folk tales that was researched beforehand was accurately represented through the illustrations.
